Cheryl House, L.Ac.
Cheryl House received her Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego. She has received training in acupuncture, herbs, Chinese Massage (Tui Na), as well as other Chinese medical modalities such as qi gong, cupping, moxibustion, and nutritional therapy. She specializes in the gentle techniques of Japanese Acupuncture.
In her three years apprenticing with an acupuncturist specializing in women's health, she saw infertility issues, PMS, pain and many other conditions treated with success. She had the wonderful opportunity to treat chronically ill patients with acupuncture at the San Diego Hospice, and to collaborate with other doctors and practitioners. In addition, during her time in San Diego, she treated the underserved US Veteran population with acupuncture at the annual San Diego Veterans Stand Down and the senior population at the UCSD Free Clinic in downtown San Diego.
Before becoming licensed in acupuncture and herbal medicine, Cheryl has enjoyed helping people as a Holistic Health Practitioner to improve their health through massage, diet, and lifestyle. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Geography from University of California, Los Angeles. She has lived in various cities throughout southern California and is now enjoying exploring the Bay Area.
